2019 Resolutions

January 6, 2019

The start of a new year brings with it the expectations that you should become a new and improved person as soon as January 1st hangover monster rears it’s ugly head. I believe and have successfully subscribed to the theory that any resolution or goal should be a slow burn, an extended change that is achievable and will be much more likely to last.

I also prefer to split my New Year’s Resolutions into ‘personal’ and ‘professional’ categories. This year I want to improve my diet/fitness regime, spend more time with friends and focus on my mental health.

Keep reading to find out my blog and brand related goals for 2019:

Experiment with my content

This year I want to focus on my visual and written content, taking both my blog and instagram platforms to the next level. I’ve often found it a struggle to post alongside incredible creators who are able to maintain their passion as a full time job. As I’m still studying this is something I will only achieve by being more organised.

In terms of my content, I want to be more experimental, getting into video production has always been a goal of mine, this year I’m planning some content for youtube too! What sort of videos would you like to see from me? Comment below!

Travel more

Travel was such a huge part of my 2018, I was lucky enough to go to New York, Dubrovnik, Ireland, Amsterdam and France last year. This year I plan to go to even more amazing locations, comment below with suggestions on where I should go into 2019!

Launch my Depop store

I love exploring Depop for outfit inspiration, and it’s a great way to find unique items to add a touch of style to your looks. I plan to launch my own Depop store very soon which I will be launching via my instagram, so make sure you follow me on there to keep up to date!

Launch @mrmchalehome

A few months ago I moved into my dream flat in London. I’ve always been interested in interior design and I finally have my own space to experiment with my style but this has always been constrained by the types of flat I’ve lived in previously. I have so many ideas and want desperately to share them with you all! My final resolution for 2019 is to launch a new instagram account dedicated to my home and interiors inspiration. Hopefully this will give you some cool concepts on how to improve and make the most use out of your living space.
